Hey there! Glad you could stop by. We are a bunch of christians that skateboard. Who knew skateboarding and religion would ever collide? We go to a loving church that is based in Randolph, New Jersey called Bible Church International.
Tim and Henry first came up the idea of making a youtube channel called sohyped97. We thought for most of the part our close friends would see the videos. As time went on, our channel became more recognized which inspired a couple of kids to skate in our church. After that, founders Tim and Josh switched to a name that would represent who we are and that would gather multiple people with us. That name was "Krete Squad." Krete is a cool, short way of saying concrete. Concrete doesn't seem like much, but skateboarders would understand. concrete is almost the base of skateboarding. Without it, skateboarding wouldn't be the same.
We have many missions that we have planned. One of them is to build a skatepark.
"Buiding a skatepark is a lot of work and his hard to manage beause of time, but it's possible" said Tim.
The reason for building a park is to get people, mainly teens to come to church. When church comes to mind, it sounds boring and dull. The only people that say that are the ones that have never experiened going to church. Building this skatepark is a way to get kids to come hang with us and learn about God at the same time. It's not as boring as they think.
